This was not only their major assessment for the year, but also the first …' --- L3 Drama Finale Ngā mihi nui # L3 Drama Finale Friday, 19th September 2025 at 9:57am ##### Drama Assessment Evening – Remain in Light: By Stephen Sinclair This week, our Level 3 Drama students took to the stage for the final time in their school careers, performing Stephen Sinclair’s powerful play Remain in Light. This was not only their major assessment for the year, but also the first full-length production this cohort has performed together - and what a performance it was. Set in a world where the sun no longer rises, Remain in Light is a haunting, poetic reflection on humanity, exploring themes of war, racism, climate crisis, and hope in darkness. The students’ interpretation was thoughtful, evocative, and one they should be proud of. Ngā mihi nui to everyone who came along to tautoko (support) these fabulous young people. Your presence meant the world. We also acknowledge and thank Fern for opening our evening with a karakia during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori.
