This year's Kōtuitui Mathex Competition was supported by selected Green Bay High School Year 9 students, who volunteered their time to help run the competition and cheer on the younger learners. This is superb leadership in action by the following students: **Joshua Taylor, Cameron Bennett,** and **Fran Ishida**. The event brings together enthusiastic students from a range of local primary schools in a celebration of mathematical thinking, teamwork, and friendly competition. The Kōtuitui Mathex event is part of our ongoing commitment to building strong community links and connections across schools in our area. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students of all ages to engage with learning in a fun and collaborative way while strengthening relationships between primary, intermediate and secondary schools.
