The Auckland Writers' Festival Schools Programme | Hōtaka Kurai aims to inspire young writers and readers and celebrate the love of a good story. Today's guest speakers were: - 📖 Scotty Cotter (Aotearoa NZ)- Acclaimed playwright, actor and director - 📖 Lee Murray (Aotearoa NZ) - Multiple award-winning speculative fiction writer - 📖 Lemn Sissay (UK) - BAFTA-nominated, international prize-winning poet and author - 📖 Neal Shusterman (US) - Acclaimed author of young adult fiction Students made the most of having the opportunity to hear from guest authors, ask questions, and get books signed.
