Linked to the Year 9 Physical Education course, GBHS's Rounders' Day is the perfect opportunity for students to develop communication skills (listening and speaking), leadership, and teamwork while demonstrating fair play and resilience. Students will develop their batting skills and fielding techniques, and support peers with coaching and umpiring while understanding the physical, mental, and social health benefits of playing rounders. House Points are also awarded for school spirit, best dressed, top class. The photo shown above was submitted by Year 12 student Amara Jacobi-Hawkins, who did a fantastic job capturing the school spirit shining through. Ngā mihi anō ki a koe Amara!
