HOD Drama, Teresa Callaghan, says "These fab humans have been working in small groups to show an extract from a larger play all written by well-known New Zealand playwrights." As well as acting, students organised all their own sets, costumes and makeup and also ran all the lighting and sound for their assessment. Due to absences and illness, there were some stresses and last-minute changes. "From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate the students who have stepped up into these roles." Teresa also wants to acknowledge how robust the students performing on stage over the two nights have been, adding "They have impressed my socks off and been the perfect examples of our school values." What a great way to lead into our Matariki weekend!
