The AUT Shadow a Leader Day gives Auckland secondary school students and AUT Business, Economics and Law students the chance to follow a business leader for a day. The programme provides an invaluable experience to spend a day in the professional world, exposing them to the skills and attributes to navigate a successful career in their chosen field, including hands-on experience within a wide range of day-to-day duties, such as strategy, sales, and/or senior staff meetings, site visits, factory tours, HR consultation, product manufacturing, and even board meetings. Our students came back buzzing from the experience! Here is what a few of them had to say: - "I really loved this experience. It was great to be able to see what someone's day-to-day in a company (Pacific Forum Line) looks like from a hands-on and internal point of view" - **Daniel Stuart**, Year 13 Business Studies student - "Fonterra provided me with valuable knowledge and insight into their work ethic and how they run things.
