John's artistic style is an exploration of aesthetics, embodying existence in the moment and revealing an insight into art making - holding on, letting go, pushing through, stepping back, and allowing ideas to blossom. As seen in the image above, John's compositional ideas and approaches to applying, layering or uncovering paint is adaptive and emergent. Creating a masterpiece of colour, texture, vision and exploration. We are very proud to promote John's next exhibiton showcasing a limited number of original, breathtaking artworks, from acclaimed and emerging New Zealand artists. Held at Allpress Studio, 8 Drake Street, Auckland, the Allpress Studio exposes an ever-changing landscape of inspirational eye candy, from leading and new emerging New Zealand artists. #### \*\*It's About Time Featuring artists: John Allpress, Karen Covic, Mandy Rodger OPENING NIGHT: 31 May 2023 (6pm - 8pm) Allpress Studio 8 Drake Street, Auckland Monday-Friday, 7am - 2pm [Allpress Expresso](https://www.allpressespresso.com/find/auckland-roastery/) (Gallery) \*\* Navigate - [ Home ](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/) - [ About Us ](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/about-us) - [ Enrolment ](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/enrolment) - [ Learning ](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/learning-areas) Contact Contact us: [https://greenbayhigh.school.kiwi/contact\_us](https://greenbayhigh.school.kiwi/contact_us)Green Bay High School 143 - 161 Godley Road, Green Bay Auckland 0643 New Zealand PO BOX 80002 | | | |---|---| | Tel | [+64 9 817 8173](tel:+6498178173) | | Absences | [Ext. 234 or press ‘1’ (one)](tel:+6498178173,234) | | Email | | | CONTACT US | [https://greenbayhigh.school.kiwi/contact\_us](https://greenbayhigh.school.kiwi/contact_us) | For contact details of individual staff, including Year level deans, please navigate to our [staff directory](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/about-us/staff) Kōtuitui Community Green Bay High School is proudly part of the Kōtuitui community of learning, a learning network of 12 West Auckland schools.
