For many students, Bebras was their first taste of this kind of problem-solving - and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. It was not just a test of knowledge but of creativity, perseverance, and thinking outside the box. Ranging from logical puzzles to data manipulation and algorithmic thinking, the questions varied in difficulty, making the challenge accessible to all students regardless of their prior experience. Over a timed session, participants worked individually to complete as many problems as they could, learning strategies they could apply far beyond the competition. Unlike traditional coding competitions, Bebras isn’t about writing code. Instead, it focuses on computational thinking - a set of skills that help us break down complex problems, spot patterns, and devise logical solutions. Through a series of fun and brain-teasing challenges, students tackled tasks that drew on skills used by computer scientists and programmers every day.
