The Tania Dalton Foundation (TDF) aims to award 12 scholarships each year, in honour of Tania's legacy of supporting young women in sport. Olivia has been involved in the Piha Surf Llife Saving Club since she was 7 years of age and is committed to giving back to her community through various surf life saving awareness programs and campaigns, while also being an active part of surf life saving throughout the year. TDF helps to support successful recipients over a three-year period providing financial assistance (a value of 5k per year) with one-on-one mentoring support and personal development opportunities. Tania believed in the power of sport to teach young people how to be their best. Established in her honour, the TDF aims to make a meaningful difference to young New Zealanders and identifies talented and deserving young sportswomen that meet the criteria.
