This week marks the end of Uike Kātoanga'i 'o e lea faka-Tonga 2022 (Tongan Language Week 2022) and we have enjoyed seeing students and staff embracing the beautiful language and culture of the Kingdom of Tonga. While it's been great that the weather has been kinder over the past couple of days, we request that students and staff continue to wear masks for a little longer. Sickness ratios across our student body are still relatively high and we have our practice exams coming up in Weeks 8 and 9 which are really important. We are looking forward to hearing the government decision on the traffic light framework and will continue to review our position, as needed. Green Bay High School has been a hive of activities over the last couple of weeks, as you can see by the snapshots posted our latest newsletter. ![PB4L GBTs](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/images/8/b/5/1/0/8b510935b4e275b15a0dc016061b6d036f8b54f9-pb4l-gbts.jpg "PB4L GBTs") ![rugby news](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/images/4/d/a/d/2/4dad22c702a4f74148c95903ef803d46ed1e0e45-rugby-news.jpg "rugby news") News 3rd October 2026 at 9:30am [News 3rd October 2026 at 9:30am](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/news) Navigate - [ Home ](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/) - [ About Us ](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/about-us) - [ Enrolment ](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/enrolment) - [ Learning ](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/learning-areas) Contact Contact us: [https://greenbayhigh.school.kiwi/contact\_us](https://greenbayhigh.school.kiwi/contact_us)Green Bay High School 143 - 161 Godley Road, Green Bay Auckland 0643 New Zealand PO BOX 80002 | | | |---|---| | Tel | [+64 9 817 8173](tel:+6498178173) | | Absences | [Ext. 234 or press ‘1’ (one)](tel:+6498178173,234) | | Email | | | CONTACT US | [https://greenbayhigh.school.kiwi/contact\_us](https://greenbayhigh.school.kiwi/contact_us) | For contact details of individual staff, including Year level deans, please navigate to our [staff directory](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/about-us/staff) Kōtuitui Community Green Bay High School is proudly part of the Kōtuitui community of learning, a learning network of 12 West Auckland schools.
