Have you been watching the new TVNZ mini series, Duckrockers?

Did you spot GBHS past pupil Lilo Vaigafa (2017-2021) who plays the part of Lupe, the break-dancing queen? (seen 2nd from left in image above).

This comedy is a prequel to Sione’s Wedding - following the lovable Michael, Albert, Sefa, and Stan as they enjoy the last of their teenage freedom. Overcoming the 'usual' trials and tribulations of growing up as pasifika youth living in Auckland during the mid 1980's. Tune in and watch as creators James Griffin and Oscar Kightley weave the stories of these Pasifika families, intertwined with beats and fashions of the eighties. Duckrockers 4 life!
