Associate Principal's Report
Friday, 18th November 2022 at 3:15pm
The senior students are well into their exam sessions by now with some almost finished and some with a few more to go. We wish them all well and trust that they are using their own time profitably but are also taking advantage of the revision sessions and other support from subject staff.
Our Junior Arts Showcase on Wednesday evening was a chance for us to come together to celebrate the wonderful skills of our students in the Performing and Visual Arts. Self-penned drama, original choreography and covers of classics on the stage all brought together by our fabulous MCs. The variety of visual art from our juniors showed wonderful levels of current accomplishment and I am excited about how far these young talents can go in all these rich areas of artistic endeavour.
Thank you for the continuing support that families are giving to our junior students to stay the course and help us keep standards high across the multiple aspects of school life. For our junior students this is a long weekend, with our Teacher Only Day on Monday (21 November) where staff will be working on planning for the exciting NCEA changes that will be taking place over the next few years.
Hoping for a little less of the rain over the weekend. Best wishes, Chris Woodward Associate Principal
